Hangin' in There

Cass' Aunt Bridget got a letter from Cass on Thursday.  He expressed his continued frustration about not starting Basic yet.  In summary:

He stays inside most of the day in a room with 8 people.  He wakes up at 4:30 a.m.  They work out everyday though in a pit of shredded tires the size of a football field.  He said that he is one of the "few that still want to be here."

I'm proud of him for keeping a positive attitude!  All the waiting is bad on morale.

Of course he also said, "tell Mom to send... blah, blah and blah."

Finally, he told his Aunt how much he missed his 2 year old Nephew, Ian, and asked her to send pictures of him "every time" she writes.

These pictures were taken the week before he shipped out to BCT.   Cass and Ian were enjoying spending time together at their Meme's.
